I regularly travel to see my girlfriend who lives in Nottingham after work on a Friday. Last night coming off the M4 at Newport my tyre pressure warning light came on, so I immediately rushed to the nearest garage. They were closing so they suggested Village Tyres.
Even though they were shortly closing on a Friday night and probably wanting to go down the pub, the staff were extremely helpful and resealed my tyre no problem which saved my journey to Nottingham on a Friday night!

We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm, Saturday from 9am to 2pm and closed on Sunday

Generally, a repair is possible if the puncture falls within the central three-quarters of the tread, has a diameter no larger than 6 mm, and the tyre has not been driven while flat. We will need to inspect the Tyre before any work is carried out

As long as a Tyre is ordered in the morning generally we can get it same day. If not it will most likely be the morning after. We will give you a call to let you know when your order has arrived

No, we operate on a walk in basis which means we are unable to guarantee a specific time for any appointments. We will always do our best to see you as soon as possible and appreciate your patience during busy periods. There is always the option to leave the vehicle during busier periods and collect the vehicle later in the day

Best way to find out your tyre size is to, look on the sidewall of your tyre and try to find a string of numbers (e.g. 195/55R16). If you're looking for 4 tyres to be changed, make sure to check both the front size and rear sizes, since some cars have different sizes front and back.

Most commonly this can be caused by uneven tyre wear, Incorrect wheel alignment or uneven tyre pressures. For anything mechincal you will need to visit our other company Village Autos Caerleon

You can find out what your tyre pressures should be set to by locating a label detailing them. The label is often found, on the inside of the front doors, or inside of the fuel cap. Make sure you're reading the correct value, to your corresponding tyre size. The label will tell you values to set your tyres to for both, loaded and unloaded pressures. So set them accordingly

Wheel balancing is done after every new tyre change and is always included in the price of our tyres. If you're experiencing vibrations, either coming through the steering wheel, or through the seat. It may be an indication of unbalanced wheels, or a defective tyre.
